It looks like this years Ramzan dramas are going to keep us fed for the month because ‘Ishq Di Chashni’ is only two episodes in but already has gained a strong fanbase on social media.
The rom-com drama revolves around Rakshi and Sheheryar, two competitive people who are determined to beat each other by setting up the most successful sweet shop in their city. Their families have had centuries long feud with each other because of their businesses, and hope that their children will continue to carry their legacy forward.
The drama airs on Green Entertainment at 7 pm every day and stars Sehar Khan and Khushhal Khan as the main leads.
In the first two episodes, Rakshi is a recent college graduate who wants to establish her own business where she could sell sweets, while Sheheryar returns back from his university as well and also wants to re-vamp his father’s business and mordernize it more.
Fans are already loving how fiercely competitive and ambitious Rakshi is and the way she is determined to convince her dad to let her start her own business rather than pressuring her to marry her cousin.
“RAKSHI HAS A DEGREE AND IS ON HER WAY TO OPEN HER OWN SHOP- OH YOU WON ME WITH THIS ALREADY,” one user wrote.
Pretty much throughout the two episodes, Sherry and Rakshi are at odds ever from the moment they meet. Some have felt that their banter is very similar to a 2000’s Bollywood rom com as one user wrote.

Users are also sharing their favourite clips, like when Sherry chases after Rakshi to give her back her lost phone, and she ends up damaging his motorbike in the process.
