Asma Abbas claps back at trolls for ruthlessly invading into actress Neelam Muneer’s wedding details, and particularly scrutinising over her husband
Veteran actress Asma Abbas has spoken up in defence of actress Neelam Muneer after trolls targeted the later for her wedding dress choices, and speculated about her husband’a nationality.
The ‘Dil Nawaz’ actress became the centre of a social media whirlwind after her wedding pictures went viral all over the internet, and several users began questioning whether her husband resided in Dubai or was from Pakistan.
Responding to all of this, Asma Abbas uploaded a video on her YouTube channel where she defended Muneer as a sweet and kind hearted actress, and recalled how she stood by Abbas when she was dealing with the tragic loss of her sister.
“Neelam Muneer is an incredible woman, she is a kind soul and is a loving person. I have worked with her and also travelled extensively along with her…I remember the time when Sumbul baaji had passed away and I was dealing with anxiety. We were doing a play together and during this time she would console me a lot by hugging me, sitting close to me.”
The ‘Sukoon’ actress went on to address the backlash Muneer was facing on her wedding, and particularly regarding her husband. She stressed on how disgraceful it was to witness social media channels and hosts speculate about Neelam’s husband’s identity and his job, and urged others to respect the newly wedded couples privacy by letting them live peacefully.
“I don’t understand social media pages because why can’t you let other people live?…Why can’t you leave her alone and let her be happy?..Just give them prayers and hope that they remain happy for the rest of their lives.”
We’re incredibly happy that Asma took a stand and reminded social media that jealousy is disgusting, and every bride deserves to celebrate her special day without anyone’s harsh criticism. In particular, can we stop ruining wedding season by making harsh comments about how people chose to dress or dance on their special day? The actress Mansha Pasha slammed trolls after she received negative comments over some of her pictures with Yashma Gill, where the later was wearing a lehnga choli.
