Veteran actress Bushra Ansari uploaded a video on her Youtube channel where she addressed the recent horrific case where a woman was raped and murdered by her husband. Speaking to her audience, Bushra Ansari said that women should teach themselves skills like cooking, knitting etc that would help them earn money and become financially independent, so that they are able to escape abusive marriages.
The ‘Tere Bin’ actress further stressed that women shouldn’t blame the breakdown of their marriage on the other woman their husband is cheating on them with, saying it is not her fault that this unfortunate event had to happen.
“If my husband was involved with another woman, I wouldn’t take out my anger on her. It isn’t the third party’s fault that a marriage breaks down. You should solely speak to your husband who is the one at fault. You shouldn’t go after the third party and investigate who they are or why she went after your husband.”
Ansari explained that no one can control a husband on respecting a marriage, but it is the husband’s own choice on whether he chooses to cheat on his wife.
