The women’s cricket team from South Africa has been in Pakistan for T20 series against Pakistan. Last night a nail biting display of cricket was witnessed in Karachi as the visitors posed a great total to the Pakistani team. Captain Nida Dar won the toss and opted to field first. After the first innings the South African team posed a mighty 150 score to be chased by the Pakistani team.
Bismah Maroof and Sidrah Amin set the momentum for the game which was later followed by a great partnership between Muneeba Ali and Aliya Riaz, with Aliya pulling the final winning six for Pakistan. Aliya Riaz has also become the 6th Pakistan batter to score 800+ runs in WT20Is. She also became 5th leading run scorer in WT20Is for Pakistan.
Twitter has been going gaga after Aliya’s marvelous performance and we couldn’t be more proud of her. Scroll down to see.

Many compared her performance to Naseem Shah as well who previously secured the Pakistan men’s cricket team with a win after striking a six in the Asia Cup happening these days.
We are ecstatic to see the evolution of the Women’s Pakistani Cricket landscape and eager to see the team reach even greater heights.
Kudos to them!
