It seems like band ‘Noori’ is all set to make a comeback, roughly a year after sexual harassment allegations surfaced against the band’s lead vocalist Ali Noor.
While many may have imagined the serious allegations against Ali Noor to have marked the end of his music career and served as a final blow to the famous rock group ‘Noori’, the singer and guitarist recently announced that the band is back.
After almost a year of facing the consequences of the allegations levelled against him, Ali Noor recently shared a photo to his Instagram account, with younger brother, and band member Ali Hamza, captioning the photo as “Yes Noori is back… Thank you, Mobeen Ansari, for this photo.”

Noori, which also features Kami Paul on drums, reportedly hosted jam sessions for the band in Karachi earlier in December, which is when people began to wonder whether the band was preparing for a comeback. It appears, Noori also did play a private show in Karachi, however, it seems so far aside from Ali Noor’s picture there has not been any official announcement of the band reuniting. But what it does seem is that the band members are working together, for now!
