Pakistani twitter is thanking Indian singer Arijit singh for calling out the ban by the Indian government on playing Pakistani music and saying it was unjustified.
A Twitter user who had attended this concert had posted a threat where he narrated how Arijit Singh began playing some of his favourite songs by the band Junoon and then said that he found the controversy around celebrating Pakistani music to be quite weird
Starts singing an @itsaadee song, pauses and says:
"Ab kuch controversial poochunga lekin mujhe ghanta farq nahi parta. Humne Pakistani gaanein kyun band kardiye hain? Atif and Shafqat are two of my favourite singers."
Crowd went NUTS.

The Twitter user then said that Arijit Singh also played a song by Nurat Fateh Ali Khan.
And immediately after, signs an NFAK song. Crowd loses it again.
For everything that goes on against Pakistan in India, man showed balls to say these things outloud.
Dil jeet liya bhai boy ne. Respect.@TheArijitSingh

This goes to show how much appreciation artists across the border have for our music and to be honest we feel the same! We also hope that some day musicians from both countries can come together and play music without it becoming such a big controversy!
