Reportedly the facebook-based sexist group had more than 600 male members comprising of male students from the university and alumni and was based on content revolving around misogynistic views and inappropriate dark humour reflecting upon rape and derogatory remarks and fellow female students!
An official sit in statement was released shortly after the group was brought in to spotlight.
The university expressed great disappointment and agreed that the whole episode was indeed unfortunate and released an official statement stating. “We hope that this event will help further the culture of respect on our campus.”
Pakistanis took to Twitter to show their immense support for the female students of the university.

Female students at LUMS just called out some 600 male students in a disgusting sexist meme group on facebook.
Listen, all I wanna say is that women are amazing and it makes me cry just how great they are. God bless.

There's a dude on Facebook defending the LUMS dankpuna boys with the logic that "it was a closed group, leaking screenshots was an invasion of privacy"
I am so fucking done. Thanos was right.
