As we are shifting from some hot summer evening to a bit cosy twilights with some sips of warm coffees and happy munchings. To make our evenings even more special who wouldnt like to watch a good drama/movie/season along?!
Our Pakistani film industry has been struggling and have started coming up with amazing movies lately. There was a time when our cinema houses could not operate without Indian movies but now we have some of our own block buster movies keeing our cinemas alive!
We have listed down a few great Pakistani movies that you can watch and enjoy this weekend with your family and friends!!
Jawani Phir Nahi Ani:
The movie revolves around three childhood friends, Ahmed Ali Butt, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Vasay Chaudhry who are not so happily married and the story unfolds with the entry of their fourth ‘single’ friend Humayun Saeed.
Teefa In Trouble:
The story revolves around Teefa (Ali Zafar) a witty Lahori boy who belongs to a middle class family and is raised by his mother. Teefa is introduced to the world of crime and because of his impoverished upbringing, money is all that matters to him. Teefa later is asked to kidnap Anya (Maya Ali ) and bring her back to Pakistan and from there the story unfolds.
Baaji:
A dramatic tale of a fading Lollywood actress Shameera (Meera), who does not want to accept that her position in the industry is not much valuable. The story revolves around the relationship of Shameera with a Salon girl Neha (Amna Ilyas) who later becomes an assistant of Shameera and gets the opportunity of working with an American Based Pakistani Director Rohail Khan (Osman Khalid Butt). Things take a twist when Shameera starts taking Neha as a threat.
Parwaaz Hai Junoon:
The story revolves around a group of young people who all want to become PAF Fighter Pilots and are then shown travelling towards the PAF academy. These hopefuls include Saad Khan (Ahad Raza Mir), Rashid Minhas Yousufzai (Sikander Vincent Khan Yousafzai), Zaid Ali (Shafaat Ali), Shamir Hamid and female cadets Sania (Hania Amir) and Ujala. The cast also includes Hamza Haider Ali (Hamza Ali Abbasi) and Nadir Kirmani (Shaz Khan) who are JF-17’s pilots. The story has all the patriotic spirit, drama, romance and action.
Laal Kabootar:
It is an action movie full of thrill! When Alia’s (Mansha Pasha) husband, Noman Malik (Ali Kazmi), is murdered in a brutal target killing in Karachi, she seeks answers and revenge. She the meets Adeel (Ahmed Ali), a cab driver who later helps Alia in finding her husband’s murderer.
