The Kafeel audience has finally let out a sigh of relief, as Zeba (Sanam Saeed) has finally decided to separate from Jami (Emmad Irfani). The realisation that her husband has not only been stealing from her but also from the children becomes the last nail in the coffin of their failed marriage. The confrontation leads to a physical altercation, and Zeba finally decides to pack up and leave alongwith her four children.
The sequence between Zeba and Subok (Aashir Wajahat) is filled with mixed emotions: a broken mother ultimately taking a stand and a wishful son looking forward to a free life. Subok, in disbelief, asks his mother if it is true that they are finally leaving the toxic household. He can be seen excited about finding a rental house for the five, as a difficult yet free life awaits them.
What does not change in the unfolding scenes is Jami, who, yet again, is self-centred and egotistical, refusing to stop his family from leaving. He chooses to hold onto the household over the family that built it; the fridge and the television prove more important than his children. As they walk out of the house, Zeba instils hope in her daughters, who are overwhelmed by fear. Looking onto a new beginning, Zeba and her children leave the house that holds nothing but trauma.
The heavily invested Kafeel viewers were quick to react to the awaited turn in the drama serial. A user stated that the harm Jami caused to the children was the reason for the decision. They posted:
