Controversial screenwriter Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar gave an interview to GNN news channel where he retracted his previous statements criticising actress Saba Qamar and the kind of clothes she chose to wear.
“I was only upset because I think that she is a massive actress,” said the ‘Mere Pass Tum Ho’ screenwriter, “So when you reach a certain level of fame, you are representing your country wherever you go.”
The screenwriter concluded that how Saba chose to dress was a matter between her and God, and it was not his right to comment on her lifestyle and choices.
Previously, Khalil-ur-Rehman drew backlash when he revealed at a podcast that he refused to work with the ‘Hindi Medium’ actress any longer because of the way she chose to dress.
