As Sirf Shabana progresses, Shabana (Sohai Ali Abro) has found herself starting all over again in a new house and job, and in her continued quest to find Salaar. Where Kabeer’s(Adeel Hussain) help for her is spurring from his developing feelings towards her, yet Shabana consistently proves to be self-righteous by turning down financial aid.
Shabana not only turns down all offers but also makes it clear that she does not consent to a relationship with Kabeer. In his own way, Kabeer keeps on searching for Salaar. He tracks him down and ensures that Shabana may find the closure she deserves. Salaar, now a motivational speaker with a changed identity, is living under the name Ehtisham Zahid. Along with his name, the story he tells is fake as well, boiling Shabana’s blood and leading to a confrontation.

Shabana states that she is not bothered by the fact that he is not married to Yumna (Namra Shahid), but by the fact that she was not given the closure she deserved. A mere phone call would have ended things, yet she was abandoned in the hope that Salaar would return. Salaar demeans her existence and says he did not have time to waste on a girl from a small town, who would become a hindrance in his way to success.

So far, on Sirf Shabana, the story revolves around the struggle of a young single woman, fighting to find her identity without the labels of daughter or wife. Disconnecting from her father’s name and unwilling to adopt a husband’s name, she flees to find closure and a fresh start. On her journey, she meets Bilal, known as Bawla (Durab Khalil), who becomes her silent anchor.

Sirf Shabana viewers have nothing but praise for Shabana’s development and the storyline as a whole. They believe that the drama serial has remained loyal to its theme and has successfully conveyed a message on consent, female autonomy, identity crisis, and empowerment. Shabana’s confrontation with Salaar has won acclaim for its direction, character arcs, and writing. Stating that the sequence carried ‘real weight’, a netizen posted on X and said:
#SirfShabana pacing is slow, but every ckt feels precisely cast…Sohai is exceptional a brilliant actor her scenes as Shabana with salaar carried real weight, the closing moment with Bawla and her phone call sweet yet u can feel the pain both going through, gr8 writing …. pic.twitter.com/88284j3Yxr

Loving #SirfShabana and her journey. Great epi where she finally confronts Salaar with a new id as a motivational speaker🤦🏻♀️Adeel Husain is so natural and makes you also root for Kabir. Bawla is still very endearing🥰 Looking fwd to it all unfolding and what Shabana does next! pic.twitter.com/UcLNEfpgeM

Admiring the engaging storyline, another commented:
#SirfShabana is worth watching, keeps you engaged, plus it doesn’t have a predictable storyline. Sohai is always a treat to watch, so is Adeel, Durab is amazing as Bawla. I like Sanam Mehdi’s writing, sp the dialogs.

Every time you think #SirfShabana will fall into the usual tropes of PTV verse, it surprises you by moving away from it. This drama continues to be one of the strongest of the week.
