Amir khan, the established Indian actor and renowned for his role in a classic rom-com, is receiving major backlash once again from all over India and its natives.

The actor became a quarry to hatred after his chartbuster film PK (2014) in which he was cited for hurting various religious sentiments. He got in the spotlight again in 2015 when on a TV show he revealed that his ex-wife Kiran Rao doesn’t feel like living in the country anymore due to multiple plague incidents happening in it. The actor was trolled largely due to his statement on Kiran’s part even though he immediately corrected his statement by saying that it was not utterly ideal to say something like this from Kiran’s part.

His 2016 film Dangal received positive feedback from the audience due to good script and acting.

The maneuver got reactivated after he announced his upcoming film Laal Singh Chadha with Kareena Kapoor Khan as his co-star in it.

The netizens are trolling him for saying that he feels unsafe in the country (due to ongoing cultural and religious unbalance). Instead of understanding his point of view and compelling the native government to take effective measures, the Indians continue to support the trend #boycottlaalsinghchadha.

Many of his previous statements are being used as effective material in many of the tweets.

Noticing all the hatred and backlash the unreleased film is getting, Amir Khan felt compelled to comment about it. In his statement about the negative campaign going on against his film he said:

“I feel sad about it. Also, I feel sad that some of the people who are saying this, in their heart, they believe that I am someone who doesn’t like India. In their hearts they believe (so), but it is untrue. It is rather unfortunate that some people feel that way. That’s not the case.”

He further added: “Please don’t boycott my film. Please watch my film.”

On the other hand, Kareena Kapoor can be seen significantly having a different viewpoint to this situation. In a recent interview with a local Indian magazine, when asked about the ongoing campaign relating her film, she said that everybody has a point of view of their own and one cannot bound anyone to think a certain way.

The Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham actress said: “Of course , because the accessibility is there today. Everyone has a voice today. There are different platforms. Everyone has an opinion. So now, if that is going to be there, then you have to learn to ignore certain things. Otherwise, it will just become impossible to live your life. And that’s why I don’t take any of this like seriously. I just post whatever I want to post.”

Kapoor further added: “I am like ‘it’s a film and it’s going to release and everyone will have their opinion.’ So that’s it. If it’s a good film, I believe that it will surpass anything, pretty much, the response will be good. I think that good films will surpass anything.”

Both the Khans are big and renowned names in the industry and have always proceeded to amaze us with their wonderful acting skills.

Will Laal Singh Chadha surpass all the backlash and become another khan-blockbuster?
