Twitter Reacts To PM Imran Khan’s announcement for chemical castration of rapists

Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Monday that convicted rapists will be publicly executed or chemically castrated. The decision was made after the inhumane rape of a woman on a highway last week that caused an uproar all over the nation. In an interview on 92 News HD, the Pakistani Prime Minister stated, “They (rapists) should be given exemplary punishments. In my opinion, they should be hanged at the chowk (piazza),” he said, adding that this punishment should be reserved for rapists and those who abuse children. Furthermore, he also added that another option was to “chemically or surgically castrate” rapists, according to the degree of the crime, “as is done by many countries”.
