Twitter lauded Minister of Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar, after she visited Kabul yesterday, for a one-day visit to hold political consultations with Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi.
Ms. Khar visited Kabul to lead a high-level delegation of Pakistani officials to meet the Afghan government officials. It is rare for Pakistani dignitaries to stay overnight in Kabul.

A statement issued by the FO announced that “a range of bilateral issues of common interest, including cooperation in education, health, trade and investment, regional connectivity, people-to-people contacts and socio-economic projects were discussed” in the meeting.

The Pakistani delegation intends to affirm Pakistan’s solidarity with Afghan people, in particular the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan and to create opportunities for economic prosperity of Afghan men, women and children. And Twitter has been praising Ms. Khar for her bravery, courage and efforts to further gender equality.
