As Aik Aur Pakeezah moves towards its end, it has gradually shifted towards an accountability track, starting with Aliya (Nadia Afgan) understanding that Akbar (Umar Dar) is a product of his upbringing. In a heartfelt conversation with Pakeezah(Sehar Khan), she states that if Akbar had been halted the moment he laid his hand on Pakeezah, he would not have ended up in jail, accused of attempted murder.
Aliya adds that things would not have come to this if they had shown support for Pakeezah; Akbar was stopped from beating his sister, a case was filed against Yaseen (Ali Jan), and she was not wed in the dark to Faraz (Nameer Khan).
