Pakistan’s first transgender model and actress, Kami Sid is all set to walk the ramp amongst Pakistan’s top-notch models at the HUM Showcase Fashion Week in Karachi. In a first ever, the platform will see a transgender model walk the runway for renowned fashion designers.
In a bid to promote inclusivity and diversity, it is the first time ever that Hum Entertainment will feature a trans model. This will allow people from different minority groups to showcase their talent and art on a mainstream platform.
Kami is a transgender activist, model and actor who has also starred in a short film ‘Rani’ and bagged an award for it at an international film festival bringing pride to Pakistan. She is currently running her own organisation in Karachi which focuses on promoting the rights and well-being of gender and sexual minorities!
