Pakistan’s first transgender model and actress, Kami Sid is all set to walk the ramp amongst Pakistan’s top-notch models at the Hum Showcase Fashion Week in Karachi. In a first ever, the platform will see a transgender model walk the runway for renowned fashion designers.
In a bid to promote inclusivity and diversity, it is the first time ever that Hum Entertainment will feature a trans model. This will allow people from different minority groups to showcase their talent and art on a mainstream platform.
Kami is a transgender activist, model and actor who has also starred in a short film ‘Rani’ and received recognition for it at an international film festival. She is currently running her own organisation in Karachi which focuses on advocating for rights and well-being of gender and sexual minorities.
