The industry remembers Durdana Butt for her warmth and talent

Veteran actress Durdana Butt passed away yesterday at the age of 83 due to covid-19. She was praised for her talent and recieved critical acclaim for her roles in drama’s like Tanhaiyaan, Aangan Terha. Celebrities who were fans and had worked with the actress have been posting their condolences on their social media and remembering Durdana aapa for her warmth, creativity and the valuable lessons she taught others.

Actress and singer Ayesha Omar posted a picture of Durdana Butt on Instagram and in the caption, she recalled how the actress was the life of every set, and had always taught valuable lessons to the people around her:

“Durdana Apa, the life of every gathering, every set. Always smiling, always thankful. Your light will always shine in our hearts. Always. Thank you for all the valuable lessons you taught us, the priceless treasures you have left behind. To your Creator you have returned. May your soul rest in eternal peace. ✨”

Veteran actress Simi Rahael re-called her experience of working on PTV for the first time with Durdana Butt in a play called “aghoshewida”, and also remembered her for being someone who was larger than life and travelled around Lahore on a motorcycle
