Pakistani actress Sonya Hussyn has landed herself in hot waters after she posted a comment on Instagram.

The Aangan actress is all set to feature as the lead in the upcoming drama serial, Saraab, which is based on the story of a schizophrenic girl. In an attempt to promote the upcoming drama, she posted a poster listing down several different mental illnesses that can be a symptom of schizophrenia. The poster also had ‘autism’ on the list.

Many fans took to Twitter to call her out for making an ill-informed statement. Therefore, without further ado here’s what the Twitterati’s had to say about her statement:

Someone responded to this by saying that, maybe a two minute google search would’ve helped.

One person made a generalised statement, implying that Pakistani actors seem just as clueless about different things.

People clearly didn’t like this statement.

A twitterati asked her to stick to acting only.

In the age of google, people have started questioning her.

One Twitter user called her a fake therapist.
