According to credible sources, Glenn Maxwell-one of the best batsmen in the world who recently showcased his cricketing prowess at the ICC World Cup 2002 is signing up for the Pakistan Super League. The right-handed batter became the highlight of the World Cup 2023 when he produced the “greatest” One-Day International (ODI) innings of all time after he scored 201 runs off 128 balls against Afghanistan. The Australians later chased the World Cup trophy as well by beating the Indian Cricket team at their home ground.

His amazing achievements on the global stage of cricket has made all eyes steer towards him and with the rumors of him joining the Pakistan Super League, it’s hard for Pakistani Cricket enthusiasts to contain their excitement. We don’t blame them, we’re equally invested in this situation as well.

Another quandary that looms over our heads is that if he does sign up for the league which team will be lucky enough to have him in their team? Twitter is ablaze with speculations and predictions, but no final statement has been made by an official body associated.

Let’s take a deep dive into the world of Twitter (now known as X) to see what people are saying:

In other PSL news, Imad Wasim, the former captain of the Karachi Kings franchise has joined Islamabad United this season while Hassan Ali has moved to the other side i.e. Karachi Kings. The debate surrounding which team Naseem Shah and Muhammad Amir join for this season have also been heavily discussed in the previous weeks.

We’re excited to see how the situation unfolds and are looking forward to a great cricketing episode as always.
