
Arrests have been made in the honour killing case from Wah Cantt., Rawalpindi, where the victim’s father and two paternal uncles have been taken into custody, Express News reported. The development marks a breakthrough in the disturbing case in which a married woman was reportedly brought from Qatar to Pakistan and murdered in the name of honour.
According to police officials, the investigation took a decisive turn when a primary suspect, who had earlier been arrested, provided critical information that led authorities to the three newly detained individuals. The police revealed that the woman’s murder was not an impulsive act but the result of a carefully premeditated plan involving multiple family members.

City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Hamdani took immediate notice of the shocking incident and directed law enforcement to arrest all those involved. Following his orders, a case was registered in the police’s name, treating the matter as a high-priority crime.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Potohar, Talha Wali, said during a media briefing that raids are actively underway to apprehend additional suspects believed to be connected to the crime. He assured that all detained individuals will be presented in court with substantial evidence, ensuring that the case proceeds with due diligence and transparency.
