Pink and Black outfits have suddenly started to appear on our insta feeds.  It’s the new red carpet favorite combination with all the leading ladies wearing it. Stylists are all trying this new trend. Lets scroll down, weigh in the highs and the lows and try to make up our minds.

Alia Bhatt
Alia wears a floor sweeping gown by Celia Kritharioti with a broad salmon pink torso and a black trail that’s ruffled at the hems. With all the drama happening at the bottom she keeps the makeup subtle and dewy.

Mawra Hocane
Mawra wears a pink organza top with a wrap detail neckline and black buttons. She pairs it up with black jeggings and a sling bag.

Ananya Panday
Ananya brings her millennial spirit forward in an I Love Pretty latex mini dress with a puffy pink torso. She pairs it with slick back hair, black stilettos and super chic makeup.

Maya Ali
Maya rocks a well-fitted sleek Shahin Mannan “Insect biting leaves frill sleeves midi dress” in a pink shade with black embroidered detail on the torso. She further adds the black hint with strappy Gucci heels.

Alishay Adnan
Alishay also incorporates this trend in a super subtle yet chic way. She pairs her head to toe millennial pink Mango outfit with a plaid pink and black blazer. Love the pearl studs on her ears.

Nadine Leopold
Nadine strutted her way on the red carpet at the British Fashion Awards this past weekend. She wears a Celia Kritharioti gown with a black off shoulder torso and a dramatic pink bottom. She keeps her hair super wavy plus simple and subtle makeup.

Not an everyday combination for sure, however if you really want to keep your finger on the fashion pulse then Alishay’s take on the trend is easy to recreate and looks super fun. Not a great fan of the trend becoming a red carpet favorite but a good balance of striking fabrics can eventually turn out to be a catchy look.
