Where Pakeezah(Sehar Khan) gives up on filing a case after her father’s suicide attempt, Asghar(Davar Mahfooz) walks in as a ray of hope in Aik Aur Pakeezah. Built over cricket, Pakeezah and Asghar’s relationship shines in the gut-wrenching conversation between the siblings.
From the moment she bumps into him to the mini bites from the fear of being poisoned, Pakeezah’s fear can be seen in her eyes. However, it gradually fades as her brother breaks down before her, apologising with folded hands for not standing with her. The aggressive Asghar becomes his timid self before Pakeezah when he sees Yaseen (Muhammad Ali Jaan) freely roam around, while his sister remains in hiding. He understands how carelessly the culprit can walk into their home, while Pakeezah cannot meet her family.

In his heartfelt apology, Asghar tells Pakeezah that their fear made her live in hiding and face everything alone. He adds that if they had been brave, they would have stood up with her and taken Yaseen to court, yet they were only cowards. He said that the honour only boils up before the sister/daughter, but never before the perpetrator who walks into their home showing off his happy life.

A brother’s apology and a sister finally finding a shoulder to cry on, Aik Aur Pakeezah scenes moved the internet. Appreciating Asghar’s courage to support his sister, a teary-eyed user posted on X:

I think it’s mandatory for me to at least shed some tears in every episode. Asghar and Pakeezah’s conversation was the highlight of the episode. I don’t know how he changed, but that whole part was so painful yet a relief for me realising he’s gonna support her now#AikAurPakeezah

Where many expected Asghar to harm Pakeezah, his support left some in shock. Appreciating his stance, a user commented:

A netizen added that Asghar has been the only one to understand that Yaseen is the criminal and posted:
Although Asghar is shown as the irrational one, he has been the ONLY one who realizes that Yaseen should be punished for his crimes, while the entire family doesn’t even consider him a criminal. But still, I cant trust him yet. Am I wrong for doubting him for now? #AikAurPakeezah

I think he has realized that she is a girl going through all difficulties alone, yet she is strong and we being men can’t do anything against Yaseen, hopefully now he will support & motivate Pakeezah🥺#AikAurPakeezah pic.twitter.com/Y1wkjFpkaq

One adored the bond between the siblings and posted:

One user noted that the writer beautifully depicts families taking drastic measures rather than confronting the culprit. They posted:
I liked how Bee Gul called out the so-called ghairat. How the victim ends up paying the price in the name of honor, or the family feels forced to choose something so extreme instead of simply seeking justice and making the predator face consequences. #AikAurPakeezah pic.twitter.com/Js1oPCaHYR
