The Prime Minister of Pakistan approved the appointment of Munir Akram as Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York as announced by the Foreign Office yesterday; a position previously held by Maliha Lodhi since February 2015.
She took to twitter to thank her followers and supporters.
I am truly overwhelmed by messages I am receiving on Twitter. As I will be unable to thank everyone individually for their good wishes I want to say how grateful I am for each and every message I have received. I will , as I said before, continue to serve the country.
