TikTok friendship led to the horror in Faizabad as Multan police officer has allegedly assaulted and blackmailed a young boy from Rawalpindi as reported by Express News. The young boy’s burger was laced with sedatives in a hotel room and video of the assault was made to extort money. The complaint was issued with the New Town Police in Rawalpindi after months of extortion that added up to be thousands. The money was transferred through mobile transfers.
According to the complainent the accused is a jail police officer from Central Jail Nistar, Multan. The officer had been contacting the young boy through TikTok in persuit of a friendship. The attempts to befriend the boy were stretched over 6 months, in which the accused had shared personal informaion such as his divorce. The off and on communication between the two was done through WhatsApp as well in which the boy was repeatedly invited to Multan for visits.
In the young boys’ written statement, the officer had expressed his romantic inclination towards him which he has refused. He had also asked for money via EasyPaisa twice summing up to Rs. 10,000. With the growing trust, the boy had agreed to see the officer in Rawalpindi. The then Adiala police officer had taken the boy out for lunch, went for a drive and due to being late the two stayed at a hotel in Faizabad where the assault took place. After falling asleep from sedatives the boy woke up to the realization that he had been assualted. The recorded video of the act was used against the boy and Rs. 65,000 have been extorted from him.
The case has now been registered for the incident that took place four months ago, while the victim pleads for justice.
