Muamma has unveiled another layer of Jahan Ara’s(Saba Qamar) mysterious tale as the new residents move into her house. The newlywed couple, Junaid (Ali Ansari) and Mahira (Anoushay Abbasi), are settling into their new home as Jahan Ara builds a comfort zone with them.
Warm home-cooked meals, hospitable gestures and a little look into her life, Jahan Ara woos her way into the couple’s life. In a heart-to-heart conversation with Mahira, she builds her trust, making space to continue with her tangled game of manipulation.

On the other hand, she is also playing with the lives of her former tenants, who are now moving towards divorce. Zeeshan(Nabeel Zuberi) then confronts Jahan Ara for creating a rift in his life, and a fight breaks out. Using that moment, Jahan Ara not only gains Mahira’s sympathy but also creates further problems between Zara(Mahnoor Malik) and Zeeshan.

While Zeeshan is behind bars, Junaid can be seen falling for the freshly cooked meals, which Jahan Ara has likely laced with some sedatives. Though Zeeshan had warned him during the fight that Jahan Ara would lure him into a trap and ruin his married life, Junaid pays little heed to it. Mahira manages to clear his mind as she tells him how innocent and helpless Jahan Ara is as a single woman.

Saba Qamar’s effortless performance has sustained the intrigue, and viewers are invested in the storyline. Appreciating how she deserves all the awards for portraying Jahan Ara, drama critic, Mahwash Ajaz said:
Give Saba Qamar every award because what is this level of talent even. Delivering and how in #Muamma. A woman who is taking revenge on a daily basis, finding new prey, almost animalistic in her modus operandi but so thoroughly human in her fears and traumas.
