Mohabbat Tujhay Alvida wraps up on a bittersweet note

Mohabbat Tujhay Alvida was airing on Hum Tv with Sonya Hussyn, Zahid Ahmed and Mansha Pasha in lead roles. As the drama started viewers started to complain that it is very much similar to an old bollywood movie ‘judai’.

When Zahid Ahmed was asked in an interview about the plagiarism controversy regarding the drama he said that he did not know that it was similar to the movie and was told by the director that the plot is just inspired by the Indian movie. He further stated that he was very much disappointed when he first saw the teaser of the drama.

Soon the drama started to gain alot of popularity and managed to trend on YouTube with a million views per episode. The drama revolved around a charming couple Ulfaat (Sonya Hussyn) and Shahaan (Zahid Ahmed) who belonged to a middle-class family. Ulfaat who had a greedy nature and in her attempt to become rich she risks her married life by forcing her husband to get married to his rich boss Shafaq (Masha Pasha).

After being forced, Shahaan finally gets married to his boss Shafaq who promises Ulfaat a big amount of money. The drama takes a twist when Ulfaat starts realizing that she is losing grip over her husband and Shahaan and Shafaq start getiing close to each other.

The drama wraps up on an emotional yet a tragic note where Ulfaat passes away after suffering from cancer. The ending left fans with tears as Ulfaat wanted to make things right and return to her old middle-class life with her husband but after being diagnosed with cancer she tried to part ways with her husband so that he starts to hate her.

Shahaan brings Ulfaat back home after he gets to know about her illness. The drama ends with a tragic scene where both recall their good times spend together and Ulfaat passes away while seeing the night sky full of bright stars.

The drama left us with a message that greed is curse and money can never bring real happiness and joy!
