Meri Zindagi Hai Tu delves into the realm of toxic relationships, where Ayra (Hania Amir) struggles to understand Kamyar’s (Bilal Abbas Khan) family dynamics and lifestyle. With the parents constantly at odds, Kamyar also spends his nights outside, leaving Ayra and Dado on their own. While she devotes herself to Kamyar and his family, Kamyar is constantly seen hanging out with Fariya(Vardah Aziz). Where she gives up on her family, he is unable to give up on the bestfriend responsible for drugging him and breaking up his marriage.
The toxicity hits a core when Fariya comes into the new couple’s room, dropping off a drunk Kamyar. However, Ayra does not back down and throws him out of the room, establishing further boundaries. Meri Zindagi Hai Tu’s makers took it up a notch and showed Kamyar casually hanging out with Fariya and his other friends. At the same time, she gave Ayra unsolicited advice about her marriage.
The audience is deeply invested in Ayra and Kamyar’s lives and cannot accept Fariya’s prolonged presence in their lives. Where Ayra leaves everything behind for this one relationship, he is unable to make peace with the past. He keeps dragging the past into the present and makesit difficult.
The Kamyar-Fariya hangouts have also left viewers confused about whether Kamyar has easily forgotten what she did to him. A netizen posted:
