Saturday’s episode of ‘Mein Manto Nahi Hoon’ showed an unexpected twist with Sir Manto getting shot by Farhad BinYameen.
A little recap to what conspired: Jr. Hazrat, Sir Manto and Ms. Maria step out of Sir Manto’s house to see Hazrat off. Farhad is present outside with his guards, after some cross-talk, Sir Manto challenges Farhad to shoot him. And, guess what? He actually does it.
We’re guessing even Manto didn’t see that coming especially after his interaction with BinYameen, Farhad’s father, who let him go merely after a slap followed by an apology. That is why he yelled at Farhad “tum bilkul apne baap jaise ho!”
People on the internet are releaved at Hazrat not being at the receiving end of Farhad’s bullet. They’re in awe of his innocence and smooth dialogue delivery.
Following Episode 20, a seperate fan-base has sprung up for Hazrat.
There is however an interesting observation by a viewer on Youtube that says Sir Manto probably had a bullet vest on that saved him and it has us in fits! We’re forced to believe that he took Ms. Maria’s words all too seriously about being brave with caution.
The attack is making us believe that Farhad is nothing like his father and is the true villain of the drama. Not even his brother’s death could shake him from getting what he wants: Mehmal. This just goes on to prove how dangerous he is and the extent he could go to get things moving his way. We still have to discover whatever he did to Ifrah to get her out of the way since he saw her as an obstacle.
Anywho, this turn in the drama hints at a spectacular revelation coming up!
Something we have all been waiting for. We know for sure there’s much more to the aloofness of Sir Manto’s character and the reveal of his double-identity had been long over-due.
Him getting shot may finally uncover the hidden self he hides so well from the whole world.
Let’s wait and watch if the truth is unveiled as Manto regains consciousness and what Farhad’s next move will be in the upcoming episodes of ‘Mein Manto Nahi Hoon’ on Friday and Saturday at 8pm.
