Smog crisis causes Lahore to be ranked most polluted city in the world
The smog crisis in Lahore continues to raise alarms every day as now the city has been ranked among one of the most polluted cities in the world. International media outlets have reported the thick, toxic blanket is so dense to the point that it can even be seen from space as NASA worldview shows.
Despite the government implementing strict measures to curb the toxic pollution by closing schools across Rawalpindi, Bhawalpur and other cities, prohibiting outside activities like festivals or events, the environmental hazard shows no signs of slowing down.
