In Lahore, a heinous incident emerged from the Hanjarwal area where a drug addict attacked his wife and children with a knife after they persuaded him to give up his addiction.
According to Express News, the incident occurred on Tuesday night during a feud when the culprit, Iftikhar, was intoxicated and began attacking his wife Mariam and his two children, Maham and Abu Bakar.
The victims were immediately transferred to Jinnah Hospital for medical care, and were in critical condition. The police has launched an investigation against the culprit, who had fled after committing the crime.
In Faisalabad, a man is being pursued by the police after he doused his wife with petrol and set her on fire because of a domestic dispute. The wife was immediately transferred to a hospital where she had died from her injuries.
