dou takkay ki larki
Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar has been in the headlines after his infamous show “Meray Paas Tum Hou” starring Ayeza Khan and Humayun Saeed. On his latest appearance at Vasay Chaudhary’s Show “Ghabrana Mana hai” he attempts to explain the popular dialogue “Dou Takkay Ki Larki” which created quite a stir when it was released.

He emphasizes that he didn’t want to generalize all women with that particular dialogue, for that particular reason he used the word larki and not aurat.
However people questioned the difference between the two, to which he responded you can personally come to me to know the difference.
He further said that there were three other women in the show but the opportunists didn’t notice them.

He further mentioned that he was shocked to see Mahira Khan’s tweet. Mahira tweeted

I am shocked at what I have just heard and seen!! Sick to the core. This same man who abused a woman on tv is revered and given project after project because of what? We are as much to blame if not more for perpetuating this thinking! #khalilurrehmanqamar

He said she should have voiced her concerns personally to which I would have responded in a better manner.
Do you think he made a fair statement in his attempts to explain the dou takkay ki larki dialogue, do let us know in the comments section, here.
