Khalil ul Rehman Qamar was a guest on the show “Bus Bohat Hogaya” on Bol news channel, where he was asked about the growing genocide in the country in light of the minar e Pakistan incident when on Independence Day,  a woman was groped and harassed by 400 men while she was making a tiktok video.

The script writer of “meray pass tum ho” had to say that he agreed with the feminist movement that truly for women, public spaces were much more dangerous and unsafe for them to walk alone. Khalil ul rehman also said that the men who still victim blame women for walking outside alone were “be sharam” because they refuse to understand how unsafe women have become in our society:

“There are still some men out there who will repeatedly question why she chose to walk outside alone. To them I have to say “be sharam”, listen to the feminists who say that you have made life unbearable for our daughters. I also have to admit that I completely side with feminists on this perspective that our society doesnt respect or value women at all. This wasnt a small incident but this was 400 men, who wouldn’t spare the life of a woman but will destory her completely.”
