Another day of shocking, unfortunate and sad news coming out from Orangi town in Karachi. The Orangi Town Police registered a murder case against the wife of deceased 30 year old Hamza and her ex husband Fahad. Hamza who lived near Arshi Mosque Sector 10 in Karachi Orangi Town was found hanging at his residence.
The Police registered a case at the Mominabad Police Station in Karachi against Hamza’s wife, Dua Rustam who is a lady police constable and a mother of three kids and her ex husband, Fahad, and other unknown persons.
During the investigation, Dua confessed to the murder of her husband Hamza and also confessed that she was helped by her ex husband Fahad. Following her confession the Police decided to raid Fahad’s residence in Liaquatabad, but by then he had reportedly run away.
The investigating officers , after conducting their research suggested that the accused Police Officer Dua joined the police a couple of years ago and has 3 kids with her ex husband Fahad.
The deceased Hamza and the ex husband Fahad were once very close friends, as Hamza used to often visit Fahad’s house. Following a fallout between Fahad and Dua, Dua went on to marry Hamza. However over the years, the marriage reportedly became strained which led to growing tensions between the couple.
According to investigators, after relations between Dua and Hamza worsened, Dua reconnected with her former husband, Fahad. Police say the two then joined forces and planned Hamza’s murder. Since then Dua has been arrested, while Fahad remains to be found after fleeing the scene.
