In a recent press conference Soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo removed 2 bottles of Coca-Cola lying in front of him and instead held the water bottle saying ‘Drink Water’ implying he prefers that over the fizzy drink.

According to reports Cristiano Ronaldo’s gesture has caused $4billion loss for Coca-cola. The company went from being worth $242 billion to $238 billion a brutal 1.6% drop for the company on the stock market.

Twitter is having the time of their life as they fight over water and Coca cola.

Coca-cola has been trending on Twitter on no.1 since the incident happened. Ronaldo’s gesture of removing the water bottles has gone viral on social media.
Coca-Cola replied on Tuesday with a statement saying, “everyone is entitled to their drink preferences” with different “tastes and needs”.
The soccer star has previously voiced his concerns over fizzy drinks as well. According to him, abstaining from soft drinks enables him to remain fit at the age of 36. He has not even allowed his son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr to not consume soft drinks.
