In recent turn of events, the couple known for their lavish wedding is set to part ways within months of their marriage; social media sensation, Dr Nabiha Ali, has claimed that she had been subjected to mental abuse by her in-laws. In Fizza Ali’s Noor-e-Ramzan on 24 News, she alleged that her mother-in-law and sister-in-law are responsible for her circumstances. She added that she was abandoned by her husband when he needed his support, yet he chose his family over her.
In the fiery allegations, she stated that she prioritised his husband’s needs over hers and chose family life over work. She also said she takes on household chores to satisfy his family, yet they became the reason for the couple’s clash. She further elaborated that she has not yet filed for divorce and does not intend to if her husband makes amends.
Haris Khokhar, on the other hand, has also responded to his wife’s allegations, stating that they are baseless. He denied any allegations against him and his family. He clarified that he did not abandon his wife, but she chose to leave him. He further added that his sister-in-law is happily married with two kids, yet it was Nabiha who was unable to settle in. He also said that he had been dragged on live television on baseless allegations.

Dr Nabha has requested that social media users not fuel the fire or end the online debate regarding her speculated divorce. She said it is a personal matter she will handle privately. She added that many are making content from it, and she would ask them to stop, even if it were in her support. She further added that she built her home out of love and expected everyone to respect her husband and his family despite their differences.
