ARY Digital’s Shan-e-Suhoor became the highlight when ex-couple, Faryal Gohar and Jamal Shah, came together as guests of the show. The transmission revolved around their past lives, careers, and current lives. Holding onto their photograph from when they were together, the host, Nida Yasir, asked the two if there were a moment they would like to hold on to. For Faryal, it was a day from their time in Quetta, where both resided in a university residence while they taught in the institute.

From their sunroom, she remembered an afternoon when Jamal had held her in his arms and was in tears. In that moment, he said that if he died in that moment, he would die a happy death. Reminiscing about the love they shared, Faryal said that one moment is what she holds close to her heart from their life together.

Responding to the same question, Jamal stated that for him, every moment in his life is worth cherishing, and he has enjoyed his life to the fullest.  Jamal Shah is a veteran actor and director, currently working on a script revolving around the Pakistan-India War. He is also a musician, sculptor, painter and social activist. He has also served as the Federal Minister of National Heritage and Culture between 2023 and 2024.  He is currently married to Amna Shah, with whom he shares three children.

Faryal Gohar, on the other hand, is a veteran actress, model, writer and host who has penned An Abundance of Wild Roses, No Space for Further Burials and The Scent of Wet Earth in August. She has also served as the UNFPA Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Population Fund in 1999. She was later married to American based Pakistani doctor, Irfan Jamil Rahman, who passed away in 2011 due to cancer
