HBL PSL-V comes to a halt amidst Coronavirus outbreak. The official twitter page of PSL announced this today morning.

Earlier it was decided that the matches would happen without spectators in the stadium. The semi-finals were scheduled to happen today with Lahore Qalandars going against Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi against Multan Sultans. However, it appears that with the increasing number of COVID-19 patients coming to the surface the organizers have decided to posptpone the event.

Shahid Afridi took to twitter to express his despair over the ending of HBL PSL-V. He also hinted at giving the trophy to his team ‘Multan Sultans’ who were at the top of the charts.

A sad news for the cricket fans of our nation but regardless a very apt and important decesion taken by the management.
