Hassan Ali recently responded to all the criticism levelled against him for his performance in the last Pakistan vs Australia, T20 World Cup semi final, in a social media post.

Despite turning out to be the leading wicket-taker of the tournament and winning the Golden Ball Award in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017, the Pakistani cricketer came under fire on social media due to a dropped catch.

Many Pakistan fans brutally targeted the player levelling all sorts of criticism against the player, even though the cricket fraternity backed the pacer saying it would be unfair to hold him responsible for the defeat against Australia.

In response, Hassan Ali took to his Twitter account to address the drop catch outrage, saying “Don’t change your expectations from me. I want to serve Pakistan cricket at the highest level possible, so back to hard work.”

Meanwhile, the fast bowler’s wife also responded to a recent fake news campaign over social media, which has been claiming that the cricketer’s wife and daughter have been receiving ‘threats’ from Pakistanis. Debunking all such claims, she said that instead they have received ‘tons of support.’

We all know that even the mightiest of heroes are bound to fall on occasions. So what is your take on the issue then? Would you still place your bets on the player who has served Pakistan on countless occasions? Or would you withdraw all support from the sportsman now that he needs the support of his country?
