In a latest dialogue with Ahsan Zaman, Hamza Ali Abbasi is back at explaining his stance on item songs “It has a negative impact…..It is bad from a religious point of view, it’s bad even from a secular point of view. You don’t demean a woman onscreen and call it art.” He further compares item numbers to strip shows and adds “It’s just my opinion but why are strip shows not art? We can show that on our television from let’s say 10 pm to 11 pm. In my head, there’s a distinction between art.”
The Alif starlet has been previously circulating on social media over cancelling his Netflix subscription over airing of the show Cuties on Netflix which in his opinion sexualizes young kids.

When asked, the actor also stepped in the Ertugrul debate saying “I’m just happy something became such a hit without an item number in it.” reinforcing his stance on item numbers yet again.
Hamza Ali Abbasi is all set to feature in Bilal Lashari’s Maula Jutt where Abbasi plays the role of Noori Nath. The film also stars Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan, Humaima Malick, Gohar Rasheed and others in main roles
