A female teacher was beaten up by a student’s parents and maternal uncle at a private school in Karachi.
According to Geo, the teacher had scolded the student for arriving late to school on May 16 and was made to stand in the classroom for a short moment.
Two days later, the student’s parents and a maternal uncle who was employed as the SHO of Kalakot arrived at the school premise to assault the teacher inside the principal’s office. Another teacher had attempted to stop the beating by trying to provide aid was also assaulted.
An FIR has been registered at the Jamshed Quaters Police Station and police said the officer in question who had beaten up the teacher is currently facing departmental action.
