Fawad Khan’s classic gem Satrangi reappears as netizens appreciate the timeless storytelling and remarkable acting in the 2008 drama. Written by Jawad Daud and directed by Anjum Shehzad, it is a travelogue where seven friends embark on a journey across Pakistan. From Karachi to Khyber on a bus trip, the friends go through a transformation. Portrayed as a rainbow, the group consists of four boys and three girls who walk out of their homes in an attempt to live life on their terms.

The group is led by Behzaad(played by Fawad Khan), a wealthy boy who is struggling to have a relationship with his father, while Neshmia(played by Sawera Pasha) is having troubles with her mother. Rayan(played by Zohaib Ahmad) is stuck in a white collared job, and Khayam(played by Agha Ali) is an aspiring musician still finding his spark. Shehroze(played by Hamza Ansari), on the other hand, is from a remote village who believes urban life is for him. Rushna(played by Ambreen Gul) has grown beyond her age, while Bisma(Sehar Gul) desperately needs love in her life.

Behzaad has built the bus for this purpose only. The trip, planned for three days, stretches over months, as everyone unloads their emotional baggage on the way. The clips from the show can be found on YouTube; however, the whole series is not uploaded on any platform. A X user wrote:

The TV series resurfaced earlier as well when Fawad Khan performed Satrangi OST at the Pepsi Battle of the Bands in 2018.
