Its a wrap for Dobara, the television show that captured the hearts nationwide. Fans immediately fell in love with the enamoring story about a middle aged widow named Mehru who is determined to take back control over her life after she was married off without her consent at the age of sixteen to her elderly cousin. We also watch her take a stand against society’s regressive beliefs to fall in love with a man Mahi who was twenty years younger than her, but he loved her for who she was and was determined to become a good man for her,

Fans thanked Hadiqa Kiani, Bilal Abbass as well as the writers and director of the show for introducing a story that challenged the kind of content we see on a daily basis, and bringing forward a wonderful story that championed women in their forties and fifties to take control over their life.
