Momina Duraid Production’s new project ‘Ehd e Wafa’ has been gauging a lot of attention since its main leads shared the first look of the show with the caption SSG. The show features an ensemble cast starring Osman Khalid Butt, Ahad Raza Mir, Ahmed Ali Akbar and Wahaj Ali.

Shot in Lawrence College Murree, the show showcases a college-boy gang  ‘SSG’ who are up to no good. The first teaser released yesterday displays how these four sprightly, enthusiastic and vivacious boys can be seen entering a loyal bond of friendship, getting into trouble, escaping their principle and doing all kinds of college associated gimmicks.

Hum TV describes it as a “Story about true friends on their journey of hardships and hustle, willing to sacrifice for the country.” While this trailer was very peppy and exciting we are sure this serial is also going to put us through an emotional roller coaster ride. It also reminds us of a classic Pakistani serial Sunehray Din where a group of three young boys just like this cast join the Pakistan Army Academy, become best friends and are eventually tested with their friendships as they part ways for their army assignments.

Another teaser also released yesterday shows Alizey Shah as Ahad Raza Mir’s love interest in the serial. This interesting pairing, their chemistry and watching the lads pulling strings to annoy the couple was honestly a breath of fresh air and a break from the monotonous rona dhona that is a regular feature in most drama serials these days.

The drama series will also be showing Zara Noor Abbas in an important role; the actress has been ruling the TV and Silver screen alike and we can’t wait for what she has to bring to the table with this new project.

Believe or not, this Safie Hasan directorial makes us think the musketeers would have been better as a pack of four instead of three.
Waiting for the next teaser like…
