Zahid Ahmad has landed in controversy after calling social media influencers “worthy of hell” in his podcast appearance with Ahmad Ali Butt. In this podcast, he said that social media is the devil’s work in its best form.  He stated that influencers have put their lives out in the open and eventually land in trouble. He claimed that this lifestyle is against Islamic values and the moral code. The influencers have taken it to social media as a result, commenting on his own professional choices.

Ken Doll(Adnan Zafar) reacted, saying that Zahid Ahmad is discriminating against him and his colleagues regardless of his work being similar to theirs. He stated that when he does it, it is considered art; however, when content creators do it, it is deemed immoral and unethical. He said that Zahid does not criticize actors for dancing and working with non-mehram because he considers it art, but when influencers and creators do it, it’s considered obscenity.
