When we last saw Danish’s spiffed looks during the hit drama Sher, we were in awe of how effortlessly the suits made the man and breathed life to a character that is so magnetic.And the designer muse duo strikes yet again as Danish Taimoor leaves his style imprint during his US tour with sheer sophistication and unique charm in customised velvet suits curated and designed by none other than Emraan Rajput!
It’s often said that a designer and a muse go hand in hand. A statement that is true for both Danish Taimoor and Emraan Rajput as the two frequently collaborate and take both the image and the trends to levels that are unattainable. With these suits that exude classic 1970’s styles such as the beloved bell bottom pants and stretched out lapels alongside charcoal greys, navy blues, bottle greens etc.
One can see that each look was tailor made for each city. According to Emraan himself, he mentioned,“We were told cities such as New York, Houston, Chicago were in the mix and so I designed looks and styles according to each city and their own individuality. Keeping in mind the fact that Danish was traveling to the States during the winter, we used velvet and denim fabrics to make sure that comfort was maintained. The one thing I’ve always admired about Danish and what makes designing his looks an absolute treat is that he’s always willing to adapt to the vision I present to him. We collaborate frequently, and therefore there’s that understanding that we both know what the other is thinking and what the other is imagining. Somehow the process seamlessly flows and we then create looks that truly make his statement and presence felt.”
