This development will hopefully help alleviate the setback that the local media industry has had to undergo in wake of the Covid-19 menace. Social media users are offering varied responses to this new development.
Singer and actor Farhan Saeed responded with enthusiasm, tweeting about the news saying “Welcome news! Here’s hoping on ground circumstances make possible the timeline in place for the reopening of cinemas across the country.”

Meanwhile some people are hesitant about this development, and have expressed concern over the pandemic still not having left us!
Education of children should be the priority. Don’t understand cinemas, parks and restaurants opening from Aug 10th but schools opening to be ‘considered’ on Sept 15th! Schools can follow better SOPs than entertainment industry… #covid19 #schoolsreopening
