Condolences flow in from around the globe after PIA plane crashes in Karachi!

Pakistan International Airlines plane Airbus 320 crashed near the  Jinnah International Airport today! The aviation officials say that the flight was coming from Lahore and was reportedly carrying 99 passengers.
Abdul Sattar Khokhar, the spokesman for Pakistan’s aviation authority said “The plane crashed in Karachi. We are trying to confirm the number of passengers but initially it is 99 passengers and eight crew members”
Images shown on national television show fumes of smoke coming out from the plane which reportedly crashed near Model Town colony in Karachi.
Video released by PIA CEO Arshad Malik says that according to the pilot there were technical difficulties.

Prime Minister Imran Khan also tweeted about the incident saying “Shocked & saddened by the PIA crash. Am in touch with PIA CEO Arshad Malik, who has left for Karachi & with the rescue & relief teams on ground as this is the priority right now. Immediate inquiry will be instituted. Prayers & condolences go to families of the deceased.”

President of Pakistan also expressed his sadness over the tragic incident

Canadian Prime Minister also took to twitter to send his condolences

Anil Kapoor from across the border also sent his heartfelt condolences

Pakistani celebrities also are tweeting about the tragic incident
It is being said that the plane crashed a minute before landing on the airport.
Praying for the the passengers and hoping there are not many casualties involved.
