The year 2020 has undoubtedly shaken the world to the core. Whether it was the virus, the cyclone in India, the loss of Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor, the devastating PK8303 plane crash in Karachi and now the passing of Sushant Singh Rajput at just the age of 34. This year has been shocking and extremely sad. Today, the 14th of June 2020 is when Bollywood Actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his residence in Bandra Mumbai after committing suicide. The news  comes just days after his manager Disha Salian committed suicide aged 28. Sushant leaves somewhat of a legacy in both the television and film industry. With dramas such as Pavitra Rishta, Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil and films such as Kai Po Che, MS Dhoni the untold story, Kedarnath, Chichhore and many more, Sushant will be remembered all around the world for his splendid performances.

Just like the rest of us, the news was a big shocker for celebrities from India and Pakistan. Here’s how the industry came together to mourn the loss of the late actor:


Sushant’s Kedarnath co-star Sara Ali Khan shared a lovely throwback photo of the two in memory of Sushant, who she made her debut with.



For Shahrukh Khan Sushant was not just a fellow actor but a fan who loved him a lot. The actor remembers him for his energy, enthusiasm and his happy smile.



The Gully Boy star Alia Bhatt shared a wonderfully captured photograph of the late Sushant Singh Rajput in memoriam. The actress also tweeted to express how shocked and sad she is because of this loss and sent her condolences to Sushant’s family, his loved ones and fans.


Ayushmann Khuranna didn’t feel like posting Sushant’s smiling selfie with him and tweeted about how much potential the late actor had.

Anushka Sharma who was Sushant’s co-star from the film PK expressed how young and brilliant Sushant was and that she’s extremely upset about the fact that we live in an environment that could not help him through his difficult times. She also shared some memorable photographs from the sets of PK a film in which Sushant essayed the role of a Pakistani boy named Sarfaraz.



Kareena Kapoor Khan released a joint statement with her husband Saif Ali Khan, praying for the late actor and sending strength to his family.


Ranveer Singh was not his usual energetic self. The Simbaa superstar shared a photo of the late Sushant in complete heartbreak.



Akshay Kumar spoke about how watching Chichhore made him realize the amount of talent Sushant possessed.

Mahira Khan tweeted to mourn the passing of Sushant Singh Rajput.

Saba Qamar was absolutely devasted when she heard the news of his passing. The Actress tweeted about how positive and full of life Sushant was and we couldn’t agree any more. His smile could definitely light up a room.

Shoaib Malik took to twitter as well to mourn the late actor


Ali Zafar also expressed his shock and spoke about how pleasant full of life and promising Sushant was.

Pakistan’s former pacer Shoaib Akhtar also expressed how sad he was and spoke about Sushant’s perfect portrayal of MS Dhoni in his biopic.

Pakistani superstar Humayun Saeed took to Twitter to share how sad the news of Sushant’s passing was.


There is no doubt about the fact that Sushant will be remembered for his positive attitude towards the people he met and for his splendid performances. The entertainment industry have lost a gem of an actor. May your soul Rest in Peace Sushant!
