BCCI ceremony ahead of Pakistan vs India match: Arijit Singh, Amitabh Bachchan, Tendulkar expected to attend

The Board of Control for Cricket in India, BCCI is all set to host a special ceremony ahead of India vs Pakistan match, expecting attendance from famous Indian celebrities such as Arijit Singh, Sachin Tendulkar, Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan.

Reports suggest BBCI has planned the event to make up to fans for the absence of an opening ceremony for the for the World Cup 2023, with the grand ceremony being held at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad prior to the India vs Pakistan clash scheduled to be held on October 14. Reports suggest the ceremony will start with a grand musical performance and Arijit Singh will be one of the two singers performing at the event.

Several Bollywood celebrities, including icons like Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth, are expected to be present at the occasion. Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar will also be attending the celebration. As earlier, BCCI had presented them with golden tickets to watch the game. The BCCI ceremony is expected to hold a light show, multiple dance performances, along with a fireworks display.

As per reports, presence of Pakistani journalists is also expected, with approximately 20 to 25 Pakistani journalists participating in the event, according to Gujarat Cricket Association Secretary Anil Patel. Some officials from the Pakistan Cricket Board are also expected to attend the match in India.
