As if misbehaving with female audience members and targeting Nauman Ijaz wasn’t enough, Khalil ur Rehman keeps looking for new celebrities he can throw under the bus. This time, he has chosen to target the powerhouse actress Saba Qamar for incredibly sexist reasons.

Speaking on the Hafiz Ahmed podcast, Khalil ur Rehman said he won’t work with Saba anymore because he disapproves of the kind of clothes she wears.

“I will never work with her because of the vulgar clothes she wears, they don’t go well with me,” said the ‘Teri Meri Kahaniyaan’ screenwriter. “She’s a wonderful actress, we have worked together on a serial and she did a fabulous job. But this is not my norms and culture…However this is her personal right if she chooses to dress up this way or not but it’s also my right to choose who I want to work with.”

So it doesn’t matter if a woman is talented or hardworking, but simply because of her personal life she can lose a job opportunity. Why haven’t male actors haven’t faced the same wrath yet, Khalil sahab?

We don’t need to say it because it’s way too obvious.

Khair people, Saba Qamar’s career was never harmed by such misogynist takes. She continue’s to remain talented, showstopping, spectacular and what not. If you need proof, re-watch her recent dramas ‘Sar-e-Rah’ and ‘Gunah’.
